locking mechanism too stiff to use, 8 May 2016

Good idea for a product but the locking mechanism is really stiff to use. It's almost impossible at times. This is the second set of these; the first taken back to a local store as they snapped when I was trying to lock it in position, it is that stiff. I assumed it was a one off fault so ordered another, but as it turns out it is a slight design flaw. If it was just slightly less stiff it would be an excellent product.
