After reading the good reviews for this item I purchased it. I intended to use it for fork and spade garden work and the odd bit of lifting. It's does a fine job of supporting the lower back when it stays in place, and lies the problem in that it far to easily rides up your back and you find yourself constantly having to pull it back into place.Also there was a few that said how wonderful warming it is. I agree but due to its material it then causes you to massively sweat just in that local lower spine area.I'm having to use it until I find a more suitable replacement but i would say if you are after a support belt for very light garden work like just pulling out the out weed this might be a good buy for you but if you intend to actually do a bit of real garden type work then ovoid.

Perfect support, 12 April 2015
I have used these back supports for many years when my back is particularly bad and they are just invaluable. I loaned my old one to friend who really didn't want to give it back, so I treated myself to a new one, this time with stays. Wonderful. It gives perfect support and the warmth it generates helps ease my muscle spasms.

wasted money, 20 Nov. 2015
Purchased this product recently. I have played golf and completed kettlebell workouts whilst wearing it and found it of no use whatsoever as it keeps riding up out of place therefore having to keep refitting it. Absolute waste of money, I'm gutted I've bought this thing.
