You can't go wrong for the money here, it does exactly what you'd expect it to do.I initially bought this for my face, but what can I say? It keeps the garden (metaphorically speaking) nice and tidy too, and it's a lot safer than a wet shave and much quicker.

Shaping a Goatee my whole life has been a long careful process with scissors. It has been a chore and because of it I have allowed it to go unmaintained until a time I simply can't get away with it any longer - about 5 days. The trimming of the moustache had the same level on maintenance for the same reason. It's even harder to shape a moustache and get that nice neat look above the top lip and harder still to get both ends evenly matched. I would fit this chore in during a free moment in the evening, there would never be time in the morning.

I got this Wahl Trimmer and it was already charged when I got it out the packaging. I shaped a full Goatee and my moustache on the fly, with no prior practice, in about 7 Mins tops. Maintenance is not going to take me more than a minute every morning. I can't believe how excellent this product is. It's a life changing buy. It truly is ergonomic which is why I managed to get on with it from the offset without any prior practice...

Very disappointing, 1 April 2013

I bought this trimmer to make it easier to keep my beard under control. With the multi-length head in place it hardly did anything, it took several passes to make any sort of difference and left lots of part cut hairs making the beard look and feel rough. After one attempt I went back to using my old mains powered Wahl hair clippers which are less convenient but far more effective.
