Almost caught fire after less than Ten uses!!!!, 29 Dec. 2014

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. At first after using it for the first time on 26/12/14 said it was nice and powerful.

She used it roughly five times.

However when using it this evening 29/12/14 to dry our young daughters hair it stopped producing hot air then started smoking badly and glowing inside. We unplugged it as it got red hot. I waited ten minutes and turned it back on again. It glowed bright orange inside and then worked for a second and blew out a small hot piece of wire which landed on my wife's neck! It then continued to glow inside but no fan working. It ended up getting red hot and smoking setting off the smoke alarm upstairs!

This is a death trap and I'm glad it didn't do that when she was drying our daughters hair, I fact my eldest daughter who is twelve used it the day before. Thanks god it didn't do that when she was using it.

It didn't even cut out and just continued to glow and smoke. This would have caused a fire if left.

Load of rubbish and not safe, 12 Jan. 2016

Not going to even give it 1starAs it was put on and blew up with smoke coming out my daughter was drying her daughters hair who is two. Year's old so very angry have complained but amazon have not replied to me so don't buy one i am going to report it to trading standards if amazon do not reply soon. Just tried to submit it but got to give it a star
