Brilliant, colourful, and lovingly soft blanket for newborns (to 9 mos), 3 Jan. 2015

This is a lovely, medium thick, soft newborn blanket marketed for use between birth and 9 mos - and looks like it will fit well up to about 9 mos. I'm unsure why the other reviewers marked the product down for not fitting their 9 and 10 month olds - it's not meant to.The size, slots for legs, velcro for wrapping, and snaps for head warmth are brilliantly functional. This is the perfect blanket for infant car seats, carry cots/buggies, as well as as an activity playmat or just the basic snuggle blanket. The poppy colour is lovely and the blanket washed up so nice - took it straight to the hospital to welcome my wee one. She loves it and it gives her just enough extra warmth to make me very, very happy.

Love this, have bought and recommended for friends. Can wrap baby up in the carseat or buggy but then when transferring a sleeping baby into a warm house you can 'unpeel' the wallaboo without waking them up - unlike a snowsuit.
