I have used these for some time now, I opted for these over other brands as I felt that the lack of chemicals and additives were worth paying the extra for, knowing that cotton wool and water is most recommended, but not viable in terms of time and convenience for me. The skin is the body's biggest organ and absorbs a lot of what it comes into contact with, knowing this I wanted something as simple as possible.These tick all the boxes for me, they clean well and are in handy packs. They only come out a few at a time so no wastage. They are moist enough but not soggy. If you find the pack a little dry at the top, just leave it upside down for the day and the moisture distributes again.

If you have skin reaction problems in the anal area these are for you,take it from someone who found the answer the painful way., 11 Feb. 2015

. For the past 20yrs I have suffered from anthropic skin alongside my anus. Dermatology departments have inspected it and the consensus of opinion was/is that it would never heal. Consequently every bowel movement leaves me in terrible dilemma when it comes to cleaning, as the slightest amount of faeces left on the open skin ,which I might add is only1/2" by 1/4",creates the most excruciating pain, which for such a small area of skin is unbelievable. Ordinary toilet paper will without any pressure tear the skin causing it to bleed. Any wipes containing detergents or cleaning agents create an immediate acidic reaction which I would not wish on my worst enemy. To cut a very long story short, finding these wipes is like the answer to a prayer, I can clean myself without any pain or discomfort, plus being left feeling comfortable. A must for newborns, 5 Feb. 2014
We were told by the midwife that we should ONLY be using cotton wool and water in the first few weeks of our baby's life as his skin would be too sensitive for anything else. Then I heard of these! They are 99.9% water and 0.1% fruit extract and are perfectly safe to use on a newborn's skin.They feel VERY wet (and cold!) and more often than not you will pull two or more wipes out at a time because they are so wet. But they do the job much better than cotton wool (especially for the first few "icky" poos!) and a good thing to keep in your nappy changing kit bag :)
