Saving me a fortune, 5 Sept. 2016

Have you noticed how expensive it is to get your hair cut these days. I have hair that grows quite quickly so, if I don't go to get it cut every 6 weeks I start to look like the wild man of Borneo. I haven't got a head full of thick hair but I do like to keep it tidy and looking well groomed.

With rising costs in mind I was really pleased when I was offered this set of Wawoo Hair trimmers/clippers at a reduced price in return for an honest review. I was about to take my hair in my hands and trust my wife not to scalp me.

Neither of us have used these before (well my wife has clipped the dogs in the past) and the secret is, it's better to take too little hair off than too much. Start with the guide comb on first, these are very easy to slot on and off. Once you get confident in using the clippers you can then graduate to leaving the guide comb off and cutting the hair shorter if you wish without risk of scalping yourself.
