My hair is thick and a nightmare to manage so I require the very strongest to keep it in check. One good thing about steel gel is it doesn't leave behind any residue if you ruffle your hair or sleep overnight in it (some gels dry out and become white and flaky like dandruff)This is one of the strongest gels I've used, its very difficult to find it on the high street now. On dry hair this stuff sets in less than a minute and sets HARD. So have a game plan before you begin to apply. Or apply to damp hair if you need more time. One thing to keep in mind, though, is this gel needs washing out every night/morning as when it looses form it leaves white crystals of solid gel in your hair. So keep that in mind if you'll be staying the night.

Excellent gel for spiking hair. Washes out easily without leaving a residue and when dry sets hair firmly in place and can be restyled easily by just wetting again. Good price for 3 pack as some stores are over four pounds a tube.
