Helpful in early days of breastfeeding., 16 Jun. 2009

This really helped me out in the early days of breastfeeding. I got fed up with pillows slipping away from me, but this wraps around your sides and so stays in place more easily. The height also helped to keep my baby at the right height without holding her up (as I had developed carpal tunnel syndrome this was a bonus). I had previously bought a cheap v-pillow which was initially good but started to sag. This pillow is very firm. As my baby has got bigger however I have reverted to other pillows/cushions but I'm sure I will use it at some point to support her when she can sit up.

This is a fantastic product, without it there is no way that I would have continued to breastfeed and I am still going at 7 months!! It is so comfortable to lay your baby on whilst breastfeeding leaving two hands free :) Being large breasted this widgey was a lifeline as I did not need to hold baby and breast!! Also useful when not breastfeeding as you can use it as a back support for your baby when learning to sit up and as it is more solid than other nursing pillows it is far more reliable as a support!! Also thoroughly useful when pregnant as you can use it as a back support for yourself!! All in all, a great all rounder..don't dally...buy it!!

This pillow is definately the best - I have tried a few. It gives firm support to baby whilst feeding and does not collapse. Unlike the bean bag ones, it does not wake my husband in the night!!! Good for the first couple of months, then I found it raises the baby too high after that. But a good investment if you want to save your back in the early days.
