Nice design and sound but last two notes are the same, 8 Mar. 2015
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:07 Mins Was looking for a xylophone for the little one and I quite liked the design of this one as he likes owls, but was disappointed to find out that the xylophone is out of tune (the last two notes are both a high C so the B is missing). I actually steered clear of some other xylophones on Amazon as some users were reporting similar out of tune issues, but I didn't see any reviews mention that problem for this xylophone so that coupled with the lovely design made it a no brainer. However the xylophone *is* indeed out of tune, which is why I thought I'd log on and let people know. If that's not a problem for you then go ahead and purchase as it is a really nice design and the tone of the notes itself is very nice and pleasant (if hit right).

PERFECT first birthday present!, 20 May 2014
This was a huge hit with my niece. She loves the Owl and takes it with her everywhere. Good introduction to different musical instruments. Easy to put together - only need to screw the cymbal in and it is ready to go. I like the fact that the beaters can be stored in the Owl feet - nice design feature and prevents loosing them! Good delivery service and will certainly be buying more.

The other drum sounded perfect., 9 July 2014
This musical owl is lovely and gorgeous to look at. The only reason i didn't give it a 5 was because the clear plastic on one of the eyes / drums was slightly creased in the middle and not as tight as it should be. This meant that it didn't give the satisfying, hollow thud noise that drums should make when banged. The other drum sounded perfect.
