Would not go back to normal office chair, 21 Feb. 2013

I found the chair quick and easy to assemble, it came supplied with everything I needed to put it together. I got used to the different sitting position pretty quickly, and have been using my kneeling chair for about a month now.

I didn't acknowledge much difference in my day to day routine until I swapped to a colleague's desk for a minute... Only then did I realise how much a normal 'sitting' chair altered my posture negatively, and I'm now very glad that I made the swap.

I was warned previously that this type of chair can be much harder work on the muscles, but this has not proved a problem either - if I get tired it only serves as a reminder to get up and move about a bit, because I've been sat down too long!

This kneeling chair suits me well, the only thing I would be wary of is the limited adjustability - only the seat pad moves up and down, and I have wondered several times whether I would prefer to have the kneeling pad higher. But I have...

Liked it so much I got a second one, 3 Feb. 2013

I found that a normal chair gave me a bad back on the days I worked at home. I have an excellent back chair at work and did not want anything this bulky at home, so thought I would try a posture kneeling chair and went with this one because it was reasonably priced, had good reviews, was wooden, was adjustable and neutral in its colouring.

It was easy to assemble, though it took a few days for the padding to soften and to get it adjusted to my height. After a few days use it fitted perfectly and I now happily use it one or two fulls days a week. It is very easy on the back, and almost as good as the expensive executive chair I have at work.

The reason for dropping a star is that the main wooden strut on my chair has cracked after 18 months and I suspect the stool will not last much longer. Better value and probably better made, 8 July 2012

I purchased a much more expensive version of this type of chair. I have written a review which comments fully on it. The more expensive one broke, got a refund but I just wanted a good chair. I purchased one of these, to me it is just as good and does not tangle my shoelaces (see other review). Full range of adjustment, better wheels and it is just as comfy.
