Our Nottingham manufacturers have been making these special shawls for the babies of celebrities and royalty alike for many years. They were chosen by the royal family as the manufacturers for the creation of a receiving blanket for HRH Prince William and more recently for HRH Prince George and HRH Princess Charlotte. We are very proud that we have also been chosen by the wider family to supply a receiving blanket for Prince George (as well as other cashmere bedding).

At The Wool Company we have been selling our pure white cotton Christening Shawls for many years and it is fabulously popular, so we have now introduced it in a very soft pink.
