My son loved this present and has been very attached to it since receiving it and has fun bashing it daily! The xylophone is durable and has a wooden frame with metal keys. Nice "star" design with good sound. It comes with 2 beaters and is all in tune. It makes a good starting first musical toy instrument. Recommended.

My one year old god son loved this gift, he did forgo the wooden drumsticks and used his beaker and his plastic spoon to play the xylophone but with the same effect, kept him amused for quite a long period of time with a big smile on his face. Noise is not so piercing as to drive his mum or myself to distraction.Presented in a nice wooden box to keep tidy/put away. Arrived in good time and in good condition. Overall a good buy.

Great item for any budding musician ( no matter the age, mummy even sounds good on it too!) My daughter is music mad and wanted a brand new xylophone so she could make some 'superb' music. This is what I found and I am so glad I bought it. It's well made, brightly coloured and the endless melodies that are created in our home on it are no longer dreaded. I know she'll get better (because she's talented & determined and only just 4) but at least this way, I don't have to lie to her and say 'that was beautiful!'I know i'll purchase more as gifts for both boys and girls. It's worth every penny spent.
