Amazing camera - caught a burglar in the act!, 21 Feb. 2014

After a previous burglary I bought 2 of these cameras for my office. I was at home when I received an alert email to my mobile of movement in my office (I have set my phone to sound an alarm if an email from the camera comes in). I immediately viewed the camera and was horrified to see live footage of a burglar ransacking my office and stealing IT equipment. I have uploaded this video and feel free to view it!

I immediately dialled 999 and within minutes my business was surrounded, the burglar was arrested and the stolen items recovered. The recorded footage was more than enough for the police to charge the perpetrator and he is now languishing in prison. If it were not for this camera, I am sure that I would not have known about the break in until I arrived at work to find everything gone. I've got 3 of these inside my home.1 wouldn't work out of the box and amazon replaced1 has intermittent issues connecting to my wifiThey aren't cheap and should have better quality control for the price.Great idea an useful when working but not that reliable if you are serious about security

Quality home security camera and really easy setup, 31 Oct. 2014

Despite being a techie working in the networking industry, I was looking for a good home security camera that didn't need hours of setting up and messing around with storage solutions, and this is it. This camera really is amazingly easy to setup. I had it out of the box and running in just a few minutes and it's a really uncomplicated setup that anyone could do. The quality of the picture is really good, even though it's not the HD model, and the night vision with the infra-red LEDs is remarkably good.

I use mine as a general security camera and for keeping an eye on my cat when I'm not around, and it does a great job. I loaded the [free] app on my iphone and that's also really easy to use and good quality.
