A Very Simple Construction Toy Kit for Very Young Children, 9 Jun. 2015

This is a twin set toy construction kit, comprising a self-assembly (and disassembly) helicopter and aircraft.

The two toys are made of robust feeling, vibrantly coloured, hard plastics. You build the toys with chunky plastic screws, using the supplied tools, comprising two chunky plastic Philips head screwdrivers and one spanner.

The aircraft is constructed from 9 separate parts, which fit together well and are very easy to build and then dismantle. It has two large front wheels and a single smaller rear wheel, together with a propellor blade, all of which rotate. The aircraft measures approximately 6.5 inches (16 cms) long, by roughly 4.25 inches (11.5 cms) tall, and has a wingspan of about 6.5 inches (17 cms). It's attractively coloured in vivid red, green, blue and yellow.

Colourful DIY toy for children, good for concentration, co-ordination and rainy afternoons, 28 July 2015

We originally thought we'd use these as gifts for relatives, but my son on 'testing' them for me decided he wanted to keep them!

They are very appealing, bright colours and lots of lovely screws to do up and loosen, a screwdriver to help take the airplane and helicopter apart, and then lots of fun trying to put them back together again.

So far, my son has had them three days, and played for about an hour with them. Marvellous!

The plastic is fairly good quality, not the best but above average, fairly sturdy, safe for young children.

There aren't instructions showing how to put the toys back together again, but they really aren't too tricky for an adult with common sense and patience if the kids get stuck.

Each comes in netting, each with its own screwdriver (there is also a spanner with the airplane) so two children can play alongside each other or you can split the 2-pack up.

Great present, and lots of fun to talk with...

2 Seperately Packaged Take-a-part toys (hours of fun), 15 Sept. 2015

Such a cute set of Take-a-Part Airplane and Helicopter toys. They each arrived in their own white netting bags with tools. The plastic is non toxic, safe to play with and the colours are vibrant bright and colourful. The parts are robust and not easy to break. The tools supplied are plastic and fit the screws and bolts perfectly. These two items will surely keep any little child happy for ages. It helps with coordination and also teaches a child patience. This is also an educational toy too. I originally thought they were on two seperate listings and I was genuinely surprised to see that both these were on the same listing and in my opinion they are a really good price. Certainly great as stocking fillers with Christmas around the corner and you could give one each to two seperate children as they each have their own tools and are packaged completely seperately.
