Although this is promoted as a hair trimmer for children, there’s no reason it can’t be used for adults and I have just used it to cut my husband’s hair.
It’s a small, compact hair trimmer with a plastic body and single cutting speed although the speed adjusts automatically to suit the type of hair being cut with harder (adult’s) thick hair being cut faster than the soft, fine, thinner hair of a child which is cut much more slowly and gently. Clip-on comb attachments are provided in 1mm, 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm lengths plus tapering combs for use around the ears and it’s IPX7-rated meaning it can be used to cut damp hair and rinsed under a tap. This arrived in a really lovely box and inside was this cute kids hair clipper, a user manual, with two extra guide combs, cleaning brush, adapter, a small cleaning brush and a blue waterproof gown to put around your neck/shoulders.
This is advertised as a childs hair clipper and has an animated child theme picture on the trimmer but it is perfectly suitable for adults or even animals as well. I was lucky to be able to try it out on the back of my husbands hair (surprising he trusted me with it on his hair :-)) it worked perfectly fine but it is different to other similar products because it is not as loud but it is not ultra silent as descibed and the on/off switch lights up.
The instruction manual(with diagrams) is very thorough and although it is easy to operate without reading the instructions it is nice to have it.
