A rock'n'roll interpretation of the classic Yves Saint Laurent fragrance that highlights the dark, mysterious side of the YSL brand. Master perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne, in collaboration with Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc, developed the composition. Notes of coffee, present in large quantities, dominate the scent. Additional accords are pink pepper, orange blossom, jasmine, vanilla, patchouli and cedar. This fragrance comes in a bottle designed specifically for the Opium collection. The bottle is dark and decorated with sequins that give a glam rock look.

I bought this for my wife and she is very pleased with it. This perfume, like its original Opium cousin is a heavier scent, an autumn / winter perfume rather than a light, heady summer product. As an Eau de Parfum it lingers well.It's not an action replay of the original Opium perfume: it's totally different. The description says it has a coffee scent but I think it has undertones of chocolate and caramel, if anything.It is packaged in the new Opium-family bottle. It needs quite a forceful tug to get the lid off for the first time. The spray action works well.If you are after a sensuous and lingering perfume, this fits the bill very well. Recommended.

A beautiful scent that is strong enough to last all day but not so strong as to give you a headache and leave a vapour trail behind you. Seems a little sweeter than original opium to me but it still retains a hint of the classic scent in its base layers.

Bought this for my Girlfriends birthday and she loved it! I'm not exactly an expert on women's perfumes but this smelt amazing, its subtle and strong, really classy .
