The Swing Shut safety gate extension is compatible with all Tippitoes Swing Shut safety gates. The extensions provide an additional 10cm width and a maximum of one extension can be used on either side (two in total on one gate).

Extends your normal gate to fit bigger gaps. It fits really well with Tippitoes self-shutting gate which I use and is easy to construct.

Fits the Narrow Gate Perfectly, 15 Feb. 2014
I had previously bought the Tippitoes narrow gate (SG7) and then wanted to change where this is put to the top of the stairs (a much wider gap). I struggled to find much info on what extensions fit this gate and had no reply from the manufacturers. I took a chance and luckily these fitted perfectly. The gap was 90cm and so we used 2 extensions (one each side). There weren't any installation instructions but hubby worked this out no problem.

Good but .. Could be better, 4 Sept. 2014
It is literally a piece of metal: if you need a bigger size you have no alternatives. It's maybe too simple because it doesn't flick and if you don't pay attention it could fall on your foot. Expensive for what it does.
