Good, but prefer the original blinc mascara, 22 Nov. 2013

I have now tried both the blinc Amplified and the normal blinc mascaras. I liked the blinc Amplified because it does give a thicker lash, as you can go over it a few times however, it wasn't until I then bought the normal blinc mascara, that I realised that the Amplified irritates my under-eyes (an allergic reaction I have had now for 3 years). If Amplified does suit you though, I also discovered that I could use it as an eyeliner, by stippling it along my top lash. It was very messy to apply here, but if you do it after putting on your moisturiser, you just wipe off the wet, excess mascara with a tissue. It worked very well, and of course, came off with hot water!

I personally have gone back to using the normal blinc mascara, and although it is of a thinner consistency, it doesn't seem to irritate. I am unable to use this one as an eyeliner though. Extremely disappointing, 31 May 2015

I am a long time user of Blinc mascara because as a contact wearer, I like the fact that in general it doesn't flake, clump, smudge, or come off unless I take it off. However, as the tube ages, it does start to clump a little, get gluey, and it will begin to flake towards the end of the day. This is when I know it's time to get a new tube. I say all of this to give a bit of backstory to my experience with this purchase. I do not know if it was a faulty tube or an issue with the supplier but within a week it began to clump and stick coming out of the tube and after three weeks begin to flake so badly, I had to discontinue using altogether after the irritation to my eyes became intolerable. I wasn't touching or rubbing my eyes; the mascara seemed to dry out and, almost immediately after applying, tiny flakes (which felt like sheets of sandpaper) would drift into my eyes. Perfect a Mascara. Builds without clumping and lengthens with just 2 coats. Best of all it stays put without any smudging whatsoever and removes with only water. This is by far the best mascara I have ever tried in my 40 years of wearing makeup.
