Lovely cool cotton cover for breastfeeding your baby, 12 Oct. 2015

Such a lovely item and so well made and neatly presented in its own drawstring bag to match the cover. It has arrived in the manufacturers slim box to fit this item. It is well made of 100% premium cotton (light colour) and sourced responsibly. The pattern is a white flower design all over it, the stitching is perfect. In the front there are two large pockets that you can keep wipes in or even a nappy or cloth. Around the neck it is adjustable and has a silver ring where you can adjust it to the way you would like it to sit on your neck. Along the rim is a firm bone that keeps it in place. I feel that this has been made with love and it says so on the label too. The person that thought this out obviously has a child and has breastfed (or is familiar with someone who has :-) because it is appropriately sized for your baby to be able to be comfortable without being squashed up in it.

I felt both excited to review this item because of what it represents but also sad that woman...

Well thought-out with some very nice touches, 10 Oct. 2015

This is an excellent breastfeeding cover. Whatever your reasons for wanting a cover are- whether it's modesty, or convenience, or you're unfortunate enough to go to places where breastfeeding is still frowned upon- this will do the job very nicely.

If you're looking for a baby shower present for an expectant friend, this would be a great choice too. It comes in a fairly posh presentation box and whilst it's largely a functional item rather than a real 'treat', it will definitely be a very welcome gift.

It's large, very large, almost like an apron in its own right. If properly positioned it will keep you covered from all angles, that's for sure, and still give you plenty of room underneath for the baby to wriggle about in if need be. It's practically a breastfeeding tent! Yet it folds away to a really very small size- it takes a while to fold up small enough to fit into the accompanying bag, but once it is, it barely takes up much space at all. It's very...

It's thirty years too late for me, but I wish a product like this had been around when I was a young mum breastfeeding. There would be no having to sit in dingy toilets with my precious babies on my lap, to avoid the stares of members of the public. I intend to pass my cover along to a young friend who has a daughter being breastfed.

At the time of writing this review there have been several negative news stories in the media around breastfeeding mums being made unwelcome in public places. This beautifully made 100% cotton cover enables a mother to nurse her baby (or toddler; it's pretty sizeable) in total privacy.

The top hem of the cover is stiffened, but flexible, enabling it to be bent around so that prying eyes cannot see over the top. Each bottom corner of the cover has a very soft terry square as inner lining, to mop up dribbles - a thoughtful and practical touch.
