I previously used an old sheet, but the main advantage of this item is that the hair doesn't stick to it. You just give it a wee shoogie and it's all on the floor ready to sweep or hoover up. The neck fitting is fine for adult and teenager, but you could always make it shorter with the aid of a safety pin if it was gapping. Very happy with this and it cost buttons!

This is a piece of rubbish. When I opened it the Velcro fastening just fell off. The gown itself is made from that very static kind of plastic which hairs will stick to and it's about the same thickness as the tesco economy value brand bin liners. The other issue is that the back is very short and wouldn't keep hairs off your clothes.
