Well I must say, I haven't seen anything quite like this before … curling tongs? yes, but not any that look like these or are used in the same way as this 'Automatic Hair Curling Tongs' from e821. I was pleasantly surprised as to how easy to use and how effective they were.

I have to be honest here, this device takes some getting used to and the instruction booklet doesn't quite cut it, after reading the complete booklet I still couldn't work out how to use the thing. However YouTube usually comes to the rescue and this it did this time as well … there are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to use this style of curling tongs.

This item arrived neatly boxed and securely padded. I have watched several you tube videos about how to use this before venturing on the path of using it myself. It was easy and quick to achieve curls and the machine is really nifty and easy to operate.
I found the trick to using this is to use a really small amount of hair, place it in the machine as instructed you will achieve the results you want. My hair is usually straight with a slight wave. This made my hair look amazing. My daughter did my hair for me and it took us a good part of an hour in total to curl my hair. I do have thick hair so that is probably why it took that long. My hair was really curly at the end. My daughter has very naturally curly hair and it was fun for me to do her hair too. I think the more you play around with this the better you will become at it...

I ordered these for use both on my hair and my seven-year-old daughter’s hair. Mine is shorter, very thick and very stubborn and never stays curled for long so I was keen to see how well this product worked. My daughter’s hair is fine and longer.
It arrives in very pretty retail packaging. Inside you get the actual curlers which are quite robust and substantial. To use it is very simple – if you are unsure there are plenty of YouTube tutorials that will show you how it works. They key is to use a small section of hair each time. Thicker sections do not work as well.
First of all, make sure your hair is clean, dry and free of any styling products. Next, using the controls on the handle set the temperature and the style of curl/wave you want.
