To achieve complete blackout, there must be no gaps where light could enter. Using self-adhesive hook velcro all the way around the window frame, this velcro-compatible material attaches to the window and leaves no gaps. Easy to use - simply apply whenever required. Folds up for storage. Can be cut to size if required, and does not fray so no hemming required! When finally removed from the upvc window frame, the Velcro may leave some adhesive residue - this can be removed using bathroom silicone sealant remover.

I had previously bought the 'Gro Anywhere Balckout Blind' to blackout my baby son's room, however it would let light in around the edges and the suction cups would constantly come away from the window causing the whole blind to fall off. I wanted a product which would reliably blackout the room completely, but was easy to put up and down in order to open the window. The easyblackout blind kit does exactly that!

The easyblackout material already has integrated velcro on the back so there's no need to sew or stick velcro to the material. All you need to do is stick the velcro strip around the window frame and you are ready to go. You can attach the blackout material and take it back down again and again with ease. Make sure you cut the material slightly larger than you need and it really does completely blackout the room!!

I have also taped some ribbons to the top of my window so rather than taking the wholoe blind off during the day I now pull it away from the...

Brilliant blackout. It couldn't have been easier to fit, took just few minutes. I didn't even need to measure it. I did try others and nothing works as good as this one. It really is completely blackout. it also looks much better on the window than the other ones. It's the best one available on the market, the ones with the suction cups always come off! I have never written any reviews before but this really deserves it. Thank goodness to the company who produced it! perfect for me and the baby!

Second blind just as good!, 29 Nov. 2014

This product is excellent as a temporary black out blind for renter. I previously bought one for my last house and used it for 18 months. I frequently move and had to buy another as my next bedroom window is bigger. I have been using the new one for 2 months. The blind on correctly, curtains pulled and a towel at the bottom of the door make my bedroom completely black. This is excellent for attempting to sleep after nights.

The previous product removed fairly easily from the last window with a little steam and elbow grease receiving a full deposit back.

It does increase condensation on the window especially when I'm "sealed in". The window can be opened behind the blind (easy if it opens outward otherwise cut it a little big!) and this can be popped into the washing machine if marked. Washed my last one 7 times without issue (even tumbled dried it twice).

It does make the room hot and I have been known to sleep with a fan on in Summer heat but I guess that's all...
