I fitted this filter using a method I had succeeded with leak-free on my previous two occasions, but this wasn't the way explained in the instructions with this one. The result was that my method didn't work and one end (the outlet end) was found by my wife a day later to have caused a deep puddle on the floor. I had to sacrifice a length of tube there and do it the recommended way. There seem to be 2 or 3 different fitting methods for different filters and it is a shame they do not all follow a simple push-fit method which doesn't involve losing tube each time.
The instructions (which at first I had ignored to my peril) were actually probably the most comprehensive of any of the 5 or so filters I have so far used, so well done!
It is difficult to rate this during the anticipated 12 month life, but I expect all will be well. Given that it's a 12 month filter I was surprised at just how light weight this is. The original and some of the others have been more...
