Took forever to arrive! Way too long in my opinion! The instructions could have been clearer. There isn't a drop down side but it does have removal side. This was my mistake in not reading carefully description as it's ideal/necessary to being able to place a sleepy or sleeping child into their cot sometimes. I would say it was awkward to assemble and needed more than one person. I like the feature or idea of using it a mini sofa area once older for child but not currently going to need that feature for quite some time. Overall impression is had I know it was awkward to assemble and changing height requirements were so annoying to do I would have gotten a different cot. Now that I have it and my child will not require changing the height because it's at bottom setting already I am glad because I'd not fancy the awkwardness of changing it again.
